Free Robux in 2026 - What Actually Works

It happens to every Roblox player. You lose the ability to purchase limited items that you want, buy a gamepass that could make your favorite game easier, or buy a skin that all the other players on your server have. The problem is that your Robux balance is zero. With zero Robux balance, the only option is to purchase Robux. Some players do not have a credit or debit card to make a purchase, plus the prices become expensive fast.

There is good and bad news. The good news is that there is a way to earn Robux in 2026 without spending money. The bad news is that most pages that claim to have a way to earn Robux are lying. This guide will expose what is real, what you should avoid, and how much you may make in an hour.

Don't Trust The Generators

This is what is most important. Robux generators do not exist. Robux is a currency that is inside a system that is completely controlled by Roblox. No one on the globe can create Robux.

The sites that are claiming they can create Robux are actually attempting one of the following. They want your account so that it can be sold. They want your phone number so money can be collected by selling you a subscription that you never agreed to. They want you to do the "human verification" surveys which will in no way pay you but will pay the site.

If a website asks for your Roblox password, exit the website, and never return. Most real reward sites ask for your username, which can be found on your Roblox profile. There is a full breakdown of every pattern in our guide to free Robux scams and how to spot them.

These reward sites pay more

EzBux is a reward site. They aren't scam sites. Game developers pay these ad sites to advertise their games. The ad site gets a cut, and the rest goes to the user in Robux.

People can make a lot of money from the app trials. Pretty self explanatory. You download the game, complete certain requirements, and get paid. These offers usually pay somewhere between 10 and 500 Robux, and the bigger ones can take up to an hour of real playtime.

The requirements to complete the app trials don't always seem clear at first, but offer pages usually clarify, so make sure to read everything. One offer may only ask for a game to be played until they reach level 10, and not a level any higher than that.

The app must remain installed until the payment for the offer is given, because most fail to credit offers due to an early uninstallation. Lastly, and most importantly, create a new account on the advertised app when the offer allows it, because most offers only compensate for users who are new to the app. We go deeper on this in the full app trial guide.

Surveys are the consistent solution

Surveys require a bit of time from 5 to 15 minutes, and pay you between 5 and 200 Robux. While they are not as rewarding or exciting as app trials, surveys are far more consistent. Plus, you can complete multiple surveys in the time it takes to complete a single app trial.

Surveys can get frustrating when you get screened out. You'll usually get screened out after answering about 3 questions. The survey system will say that you don't fit the answering demographic, and in turn, you will not get paid for the 1 to 2 minutes you spent. This is frustrating and happens to everyone. The trick is to complete multiple surveys. Start with the shorter surveys, honestly and consistently answer them, and don't rage quit after one survey screening you out. Most people say that their hit rate improves once the system starts selecting the surveys you qualify for. There is more on raising that rate in our survey earning guide.

Small tasks add up faster than people expect

It is important to know that just because a task is short, doesn't mean you're not getting rewarded.

  • Watch videos. They take between 30 seconds and a minute, and can pay you between 1 and 5 Robux.
  • Mini games. These can pay you between 1 to 50 Robux for only a few minutes of time.
  • Follow socials. Follow on YouTube, X, or Instagram for a small bonus payout once you follow them.
  • Leave a review. A bonus can be earned after you leave a review on Trustpilot and it gets approved.

While just completing these tasks won't fund a limited item, they can close the gap to the earnings you need for what you want to buy. Especially when you stack these mini tasks on top of offers. We cover exactly where these fit in watching videos and mini games.

Free daily Robux for showing up

Most people ignore daily rewards, but they are literally free to claim every day. It takes no effort to claim them.

By claiming the daily bonus, you'll earn 5 Robux. Completing the daily spin will net you another Robux bonus. Your streak reward increases with each day you log on consecutively, so it helps to build a habit. There are also raffles for bigger rewards.

It does not take long to claim your daily rewards, so get in the habit of completing them every day. The full breakdown of how streaks, spins and raffles stack together is worth reading, because they compound.

Referrals are the closest thing to passive income

If your friends play Roblox with you, this is also one you should pay attention to. We have a referral program, so you earn 10% of what your referral earns on EzBux. Your referral does not lose any money.

You should share your link in places with your Roblox friends. The more people that you refer that are actively earning on EzBux, the more passive income you will earn, while not having to do any of the manual work. Our referral guide covers where sharing actually converts.

Getting the Robux into your account

You've put in the effort to earn the Robux, but that is not the whole process. Here's how it actually works so you don't get lost.

Roblox does not let one player hand Robux to another directly. Each Robux payout goes through the official gamepass system, the same way a Roblox developer gets paid. To get paid, you create a gamepass on a place you own, price it at 0, and the gamepass gets bought from you. The Robux will end up in your account.

It will probably take you a couple of minutes to set everything up one time. After that, it is very easy and takes hardly any time at all. The minimum cashout on EzBux is 10 Robux, and it is uncommon to leave your first session without cashing out. Payouts usually process within a few minutes.

Roblox applies its normal marketplace fee to gamepass sales, so factor that in. If you just made a new account or you are cashing out a large amount, expect a fraud verification. That is a short hold to verify that the account is not being abused, and is not a delay just to delay your payout. The step by step version lives in how to set up a gamepass for payouts.

A realistic first session

If you have not done this before and need a step by step guide, this is the best order to go about it.

Log in to your account, claim your signup and daily bonuses, follow the given accounts for more free credits, and complete a few easy surveys, then pick a legit trial app to do next. Don't forget to set up the gamepass you will get paid through before the app trial finishes, so your payout path is ready before your balance is.

If you do this in this order, you will realistically get past the 10 Robux payout minimum in your first session, with a much larger offer still processing in the background.

The honest summary

Robux are real but free Robux means doing paid work. There are advertising companies that fund that work in exchange for Robux. Your time and attention are the product, and the platforms that are honest about that are the ones you should use.

Anything that asks for your password should always be avoided. Prioritise app trials for volume, surveys for consistency, and daily claims for the effort-to-reward ratio. Configure your gamepass early to stop Robux being the thing standing between you and the game you want to play.

Once you have a balance, spend it somewhere it counts — our guide to the best games to spend Robux on covers where a gamepass actually changes how you play.
